This week we discuss the role that the media plays in academia with Dr. Alex Piquero and the impact of Texas's proposed "bathroom bill" with Student Government senators.

Alex Piquero, the associate dean of graduate programs for the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences and Ashbel Smith Professor of Criminology, has been gathering data regarding NFL player arrests and penalties is one of several of his studies that have blown up in the media in recent years.
